Message from the CEO

Koden was founded in 1947 by engineers from the Technical Lab of the Japanese Imperial Navy, who were pioneers in electronics, and from the Ministry of Communications (Japan) and International Telecommunications Co., Ltd., who played central roles in radio wave operations.

Since then, we have been at the forefront of providing marine electronic equipment, such as Radio Direction Finders, Loran receivers, GPS Receivers, Color Echo Sounders, and Marine Radars, contributing to the safe navigation and the modernization of fisheries.

We have also been early adopters in the development of scientific computing computers, information processing, and communication technologies, providing advanced information and communication, and security equipment essential for the rapidly advancing IT society, thereby enhancing the safety and security of society.

With the transition to a holding company structure in August 2014, we started anew as a group company of KODEN Holdings Co., Ltd.

With our company creed “Harmony” and our corporate principle “Ingenuity, Time, Passion,” we will continue to uphold our illustrious history and strive for creativity and innovation as a common understanding among all employees.

Furthermore, by refining our sensing technologies using radio waves, sound waves, and light waves, as well as our information communication and signal processing technologies and their applications, we at “Koden Technology” will continue to provide products that support the convenience, safety, and security of society, under the slogan “Sensing for your dream.” We are committed to contributing to the realization of a prosperous society by staying close to our customers.
