About Vendée Globe

Vendée Globe is a solo non-stop round-the-world race in a large yacht over 80 days without assistance. Only about half of the racers have finished the world’s toughest race so far.

The race starts from Les Sables-d'Olonne, in the Vendée département of France,on the Atlantic Ocean.
The racers try to sail down the ocean to the Cape of Good Hope, along Antarctica through Cape Leeuwin in Australia and to Cape Horn, then back to Les Sables-d'Olonne.

Koden’s Support

Koden marine electronics products provide state of the art support Kojiro's fourth-generation yacht "Spirit of Yukoh"

The picture shows how Koden products are installed in "Spirit of Yukoh."

Koden marine electronic products GPS compass KGC-222, GPS Navigator KGP-913MKII and 17 inch LCD monitor are installed in "Spirit of Yukoh,"enabling Kojiro to sail safer.

Koden also provided support with electrical system maintenance of his yacht prior to the race.
